Jana serves as Paralegal and Commercial Escrow Officer for Chicago Title’s Columbus National Commercial Services (NCS) operation. She began in the industry in 1997 and joined the Columbus NCS in 2008. Jana began her career as a real estate agent in Palm Beach County, Florida, and then made her transition to title insurance as a residential post closer. She soon switched to the commercial side of the business and has been focused on providing excellent customer service on all transactions that cross her desk.
Jana has worked on a variety of transactions, ranging from small residential deals up to a $1.6 billion national commercial transaction. She is experienced in all facets of the underwriting and escrow process, including examining, underwriting, reviewing surveys, title objections, authority documents, preparing closing statements, handling recordings, and issuing affirmative coverages and title policies.

Jana values her close working relationships with her colleagues and customers. If she anticipates any unique challenges, she has a team of subject matter experts that she can call on to help resolve even the most difficult issue. Jana also looks upon her colleagues and customers as mentors helping her to continually strengthen her talents and expand her knowledge of the commercial title real estate industry. She enjoys working in the title industry as it gives her the opportunity to assist others while constantly learning.
Jana is a licensed Florida title agent. She has an Associate of Science degree in paralegal studies and is working on her bachelor’s in Organizational Management. Jana is also a member of the Autism Society of America. She lives in West Palm Beach, Florida and loves spending time with her son, living a healthy lifestyle, and hitting the beach for some boogie boarding!
